Josh formed 13th Floor with drummer and songwriter Mike Kardos. Josh and Mike met in a music class in college, and the two formed a musical partnership that would last for years. 13th Floor performed regularly in New Jersey and New York in the mid 1990's, and the band eventually recorded its only CD, "Circus Under the Sky," which got nifty reviews in Entertainment Weekly and Time Magazine. Mike is now a professor of English and co-director of the creative writing program at Mississippi State University. He has published a book of short stories as well as a mystery novel, both of which have gotten rave reviews. Check him out at

| After 13th Floor disbanded, Josh stopped composing altogether. He did continue studying music, however, taking lessons in classical piano, jazz piano, and opera. Five years later, no one was more surprised than Josh himself when he started writing songs again. He joined forces with multi-instrumentalist, producer, and composer Ray Ippolito to form the band Roadside Alibi. Their musical partnership culminated in the recording of Roadside Alibi's only album, "Hurray For Humans." Ray is not only an amazing producer and engineer, but he is also an incredibly gifted teacher who specializes in guitar, percussion, and theory and composition. Check him out at RayIppolito.com. |

Josh has been studying opera on and off for the past 15 years. He currently works with voice teacher Arturo Spinetti, who studied with the great Mario Del Monaco himself. Arturo has sung all over the world, and can be seen and heard in a few videos on YouTube. Check him out!
